Wednesday Jan. 8, 2014 Can you remember a time before video games? A time where kids were forced to use their i-Maginations instead of their i-Pads? Where “Tribes” were formed and innocence was lost? Where growing up and growing strong was not just for the body, but also for the spirit?
The Streets of Our Youth - follows the hilarious and often embarrassing adventures of Richey Storm and the Draden Tribe, a club of ten- to fourteen-year-old boys caught up in the tumultuous times of the sixties, just trying to get from one day to the next.

Ron Stelle was raised in Houston Texas in the sixties which, amazingly enough,is what my first book is about. I have been a restaurant manager, musician, and I spent 23 years in the U.S Navy. After retiring in 2001, I went into the automobile industry as a Service Advisor. My wife told me (after I started blogging daily motivations on Facebook) that I should write a book! So, I did. I found that I have a natural gift that I was unaware I posessed. I LOVE writing and just finished writing my second novel(a S.K. type thriller) called ” The Globe” and I am writing a to my first novel. I may not be as young as I used to be but I am not even close to slowing down!

Debbie Berkelhammer exactly six months before my diagnosis, I turned 30 years old. Married and a mother to young boys, I was filled with hopes and dreams, oblivious to the reality that my world, as I knew it, would soon end. In August, 1996 I was diagnosed with a life threatening cervical spinal cord tumor. My doctors told me I would be a quadriplegic within five years. I began radiation treatment to shrink the tumor. Ten months later I was given one to three months to live. I would not see my next birthday. Yet I survived and thrived. I fought for my life with the help of my family and today I see life as an opportunity to love each moment. My illness affected every part of my life-as a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend and an individual. These roles made me who I was when my illness struck, and today my illness has defined those roles with greater clarity. Everyone has a story that lives within us. This is my story.
Its GOOD to be GUTSY! For some of us this is easy, to speak out, take risks, stand at the leading edge of change.
Sylvia Lafair Ph.D. is President of Creative Energy Options, Inc. (CEO), a global consulting company that targets and transforms workplace patterns for success. Her award winning book, “Don’t Bring It to Work”2009 (Jossey-Bass),is listed as one of the top 20 books for emerging leaders. Lafair’s research shows that, much as we like to believe that our behavior is entirely rational and governed by our conscious mind, our thoughts and actions are often driven by the roles we learned in our families as children. And under pressure, we tend to revert to old patterns, often creating workplace drama that diverts attention from the business and undermines productivity.

Both powerful and pragmatic in his approach, Clark shows readers how to experience boundless freedom in every area of their lives by simply surrendering to God’s will. He demonstrates that this submission is the catalyst for putting God’s grace into motion, setting the stage for incredible change. Through personal anecdotes, Clark illustrates how he used this principle in his own life and achieved dramatic changes financially, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
“Everyone longs to be of value, to be needed and wanted and to become something or someone great,” says Clark. “We all long to become more than we are.”
In “Surrender” Clark presents a clear path to a life free from frustration, cynicism and quiet desperation.
“People really don’t believe in the greater things that they can do,” he remarks. “This book gives them hope as well as the keys to unlock and to tap into the power to give them purpose, peace, soundness of mind, clarity, creativity and more than we can ask or imagine.”

Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012 Sylvia Lafair, Ph.D. is President of Creative Energy Options, Inc. (CEO), a global consulting company that targets and transforms workplace patterns for success. Dr. Lafair’s programs and executive coaching impact individuals and teams to decrease conflict and increase productivity. Her award winning book, “Don’t Bring It to Work” 2009 (Jossey-Bass),is listed as one of the top 20 books for emerging leaders. Her new book, “GUTSY: How Women Leaders Make Change,” was released in June 2012. She is presently working on a book about diversity in the workplace titled“Different: How Dynamic Leaders Drive Diversity at Work”. As a noted authority on leadership, an award winning author, and executive coach, her message is unique and timely; her insights universal and relevant. Office drama and politics, human resource issues, absenteeism, and litigation often increase when stress is high in companies. This is where Dr. Lafair’s unique model becomes vitally important as she teaches managers and teams how to transform ingrained patterns that get in the way of effective collaboration and organizational productivity.
